I have photographed around this mudhole for a while. This is the first image I really liked. Most times the power lines are reflecting in the water. There was just enough scum on top to stop the reflections. The light was amazing along with the footprint. There are plenty of these to choose from on my hunting land.
Two images from my never ending search for wildflowers. Nothing like laying flat on your belly in the woods photographing these things most people never see. You have to look hard and remember the last time you were here. These are from my hunting land which was clear cut in 2016. It is amazing to see the species change as the property grows up. There are more Wakerobins this year than ever. Get out and wallow in the woods!!
A couple os images from my last trip to my hunting land. The wildflowers are just getting started, they bloom on different parts of the land until winter. The top image is a Piedmont Azalea which blooms down along the creek, there were many blooming at this time. the Wild Violet was blooming near the woods in a cutover spot. It was really colorful and was coming out of an old stump.
