“Sunflower”

An image from a sunflower in my front yard. It was a sunny morning and the light was great for this subject. Direct early morning sunlight made for good strong contrast. I tried it in color but the color took away the drama. Silver Efex Pro conversion from raw file.

An image I made about a week ago at a friend’s hunting land. I got up very early so I could get there before sunrise. This was one of the last images I made after sunrise. Beautiful Light!
